
ABOUT ME
I am Ioanna, a certifiede yoga teacher trained in India, where i completed advanced yoga teacher trainings during two immersive journeys dedicated to deepening my practice and understanding of traditional yoga philosophy.
With years of teaching experience, I offer traditional mat-based yoga classes as well as SUP Yoga sessions held in a unique floating yoga studio, combining movement, nature, and mindfulness in a truly special environment.
I specialize in guiding beginners, creating a supportive and safe space where students can explore yoga at their own pace and feel confident from their very first practice. My teaching focuses on mindful movement, breath awareness, and building a strong foundation while respecting each individual body.
Yoga is not only my profession but a lifelong passion. Through my classes, I aim to help students reconnect with themselves, reduce stress, cultivate balance, and experience yoga as a holistic practice that supports both physical and emotional well-being.
MY STORY
My journey into yoga began years ago in a small studio, without knowing even a single pose. At the time, I simply wanted to release accumulated stress and reconnect with myself. When people ask me how it all started, I always say that from my very first class, I knew this was I wanted to do.
In 2019, i traveled to India to follow my dream and complete my yoga teacher training. There, I immersed myself in traditional yoga practices, beginning with Hatha and Vinyasa yoga on the mat and deepening my understandiing of yoga as a way of life rather than just a physical exercise.
In 2023, I introduced SUP Yoga on the island I now call home, creating a floating yoga experience in nature through SUP Yoga Milos. My intention is to share something more than a class ~ a moment to connect, breathe, and experience yoga surrounded by the sea and natural beauty.
If you have read this far, I would like to share a few from the heart. Yoga has nothing to do with achieving the perfect pose. It is not about acrobatics or perfomance. Yoga is presence, connection, and a return to wholeness.
